What Are You Doing With the Measure

God gives us the anointing to complete whatever it is that he has appointed us to do. He watches over us, keeps, us, and has a plan for each of our lives. There is a purpose for our lives, and we must thank him for that purpose. We all should strive to fulfill the purpose and plan he has for our life. Therefore, the questions I have for you today are what are you doing with the measure God has given you. Are you making time for the Lord?

In order to make time for the Lord you must study the word. The word helps you and prepares you to lead others. In addition, you must pray to deepen your relationship with God. When you do these things you do not have to wonder or question if you are truly in relationship with God. It removes the questioning of hearing Gods voice when he speaks to you. The word of God says he that have an ear let him hear what the spirit is saying. There is no excuse for lack in your life and relationship with God. If you are lacking in your relationship with God, it is time for you to begin the following steps below. It is important to maintain order in our lifestyle and relationship with God. The only way to do this is maintain a prayer life, fellowshipping with others, study the word of God, by witnessing and sharing his love with others. We must always be yielded to the voice of God and start our day off with thanking him. We should never arise and not thank him first for allowing us to do so.

  1. Study – the greatest form of worship is to study. The word of God tells us that we are to study to show ourselves approved. This means that we are to study our word on a daily basis. We are not to read it and put it down, we are to study it. Review it, ask God questions, and take notes. You study the word of God like a child who studies in school.
  2. Pray – pray without ceasing. Praying is nothing more than having a conversation with your Heavenly Father. You don’t have to be bowed down in a fetal position every time you pray. You can pray while you’re cleaning, cooking, driving, working, or just walking around. That’s what praying without ceasing is, talking to God throughout your day.
  3. Fellowship – we are to fellowship with each other and teach one another the things of God.
  4. Witness – you witness to those that do not have a relationship with the Lord and to those that have gone astray.
  5. Share the love of the Lord with others – we are not to keep the love of God for ourselves and not spread it among mankind. Instead we are to share with others God’s love, show them how much he cares for them and learn his love is.

We need the following things,

  1. The word of knowledge – Knowledge is the instruction. God gives each of us a daily word of knowledge. It does not have to come from someone else because He will give it to you. It’s a daily instruction from God to you.
  2. The word of wisdom – Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge. Wisdom gives one the ability to apply the knowledge that God has given them.
  3. The gift of prophecy – Prophecy is word that comes directly from God concerning others. We are to be in agreement with the prophecies God gives us. We all need to seek after and pray for the gift of prophecy because the word tells us that we all should prophecy one unto another.
  4. The gift of faith – Messiah gives us all the gift of faith when we place all of our trust and faith in him.
  5. The discerning of spirits – God gives each of us the ability to discern the operation of spirits, to see what is happening in the lives of others or what they plan to do in the lives of others. This allows us to not be left in the dark concerning these spirits and someone’s life. We know the difference between good and bad, an angel or a demon. God will show us when it is just us being human and thinking it’s something when it’s not.
  6. The gift of tongues – God gives us the ability to speak in tongues in order to communicate with him directly in the spirit.
